- TECH 2026-10-19 — engine_configuration corrected from legacy Inline-4 to V16. Maserati's 2014 centennial release identifies the Tipo V4 Sport as a sixteen-cylinder car; Maserati's 2019 Tipo V4 history documents two eight-cylinder banks in a 25-degree V. Only engine layout is corrected. The 1932 delivery and 1934 Zagato body are distinct phases in the official history; the current 1931 model/archive year and unresolved exact chassis remain unchanged. No racing-car performance, dimensions or weight are inherited.
