Bovensiepen Zagato Now Available to Order: Limited to 99 Units at Nearly €370,000

The debut model from Bovensiepen Automobile is officially open for orders, marking a new chapter following the transformation of Alpina under the umbrella of BMW Group. While Alpina transitions into BMW’s structure, a new independent entity has taken root in Buchloe: Bovensiepen Automobile GmbH & Co. KG.
Its first creation, the Bovensiepen Zagato, signals a bold step into bespoke automotive craftsmanship.
A Fusion of German Engineering and Italian Design
Unveiled globally in May 2025 during the prestigious Fuori Concorso on Lake Como, the Bovensiepen Zagato embodies a refined blend of Bavarian engineering and Italian styling.
The bodywork, developed in collaboration with the renowned Milanese design house Zagato, showcases classic grand touring proportions. A long, sculpted hood flows into a distinctly contoured rear, giving the coupé a timeless yet modern presence.

Built on the foundation of the BMW M4, this limited-production Gran Turismo will see only 99 units produced worldwide. Each example is handcrafted in Buchloe, requiring more than 250 hours of meticulous work.
A standout feature of the construction is the extensive use of lightweight materials: over 400 precision components are manufactured largely from carbon fiber-reinforced plastic, contributing to both performance and exclusivity.
Tailor-Made Interiors with Exceptional Craftsmanship
Inside, the same level of craftsmanship continues. Clients can opt for a full Lavalina leather interior, a process that alone requires more than 130 hours of manual labor.

A newly launched online configurator allows customers to personalize nearly every detail—from exterior finishes and exposed carbon accents to brake caliper colors—ensuring each vehicle reflects the owner’s individual taste.
Performance Beyond the M4
Under the hood lies a 3.0-liter inline-six engine delivering 449 kW (611 hp) and 700 Nm of torque—figures that significantly surpass those of the standard M4.

This power translates into impressive performance: 0–100 km/h in just 3.3 seconds and a top speed exceeding 300 km/h.
Fuel consumption, measured under the WLTP cycle, is rated at 10.4 l/100 km, with CO₂ emissions of 235 g/km. According to CEO Andreas Bovensiepen, particular attention was given to chassis tuning and crafting an engaging engine sound.
Pricing and Availability
The Bovensiepen Zagato positions itself firmly in the ultra-exclusive segment, with a starting price of €369,495 (including VAT, ex works Buchloe).
Following an extensive testing program covering several thousand kilometers, the first customer deliveries are scheduled for the third quarter of 2026.
