Community Guidelines

Carrozzieri Italiani welcomes informed discussion, historical contributions and constructive debate. These guidelines apply to public comments, forum discussions and other material submitted by community members.

01 / Respectful discussion

Discuss ideas and evidence respectfully. Personal attacks, harassment, threats, hate speech, discriminatory abuse and deliberate intimidation are not welcome. Disagreement about historical interpretations is encouraged when expressed constructively.

02 / Historical accuracy and attribution

Where possible, support factual claims with sources such as period publications, archival records, photographs, chassis documentation or first-hand testimony. Distinguish documented facts from hypotheses, recollections and opinions. If you identify an error in an archive record, provide the relevant page and supporting information so it can be reviewed.

03 / Photographs, documents and copyright

Only upload or share material that you are entitled to submit, or that may lawfully be shared in the circumstances. Credit photographers, collections and other rights holders where known. Giving credit does not itself replace permission where permission is required. Do not post paywalled, confidential or unlawfully obtained material. 04 / Privacy and personal information

Do not publish another person’s private contact details, private correspondence, sensitive personal information or identifying documents without an appropriate lawful basis. Avoid sharing personal data that is unnecessary to the historical discussion.

05 / Commercial posts and spam

Unsolicited advertising, repetitive promotional posts, deceptive links, impersonation and automated spam are not permitted. Any commercial relationship or material interest relevant to a contribution should be disclosed. The existence of a community discussion does not authorise sales listings outside designated features.

06 / Moderation

Carrozzieri Italiani may review, edit for clarity, restrict or remove contributions that breach these guidelines, applicable law or the website’s Terms of Use, and may limit access for repeated or serious violations. Moderation decisions should be proportionate to the circumstances. The website cannot guarantee that every user contribution will be reviewed before publication.

07 / Contributions and corrections

Contributors remain responsible for the material they submit. Submitting information does not automatically establish its historical accuracy or transfer ownership of third-party rights. Editorial inclusion, corrections and historical attributions remain subject to independent review.

08 / Reporting concerns

To report an inappropriate contribution, factual correction or rights issue, email info@carrozzieri-italiani.com with the relevant page or discussion link and a short explanation. Reports will be assessed in context.
