Pininfarina to Design the Interiors of Exclua’s Bespoke Luxury Vehicles

Pininfarina has entered into a partnership with Exclua to design the interiors of the company’s bespoke luxury vehicles, with the first examples due to become available from October 2026.
Exclua specialises in individually commissioned mobility solutions for business leaders, institutional clients, families and private customers seeking a high degree of comfort, privacy and personalisation.
Rather than offering a standard vehicle with a limited range of options, the company develops each commission around the lifestyle, requirements and preferences of its owner. Pininfarina will now shape the interior architecture and visual identity of those vehicles.
The cabins are conceived less as conventional automotive interiors and more as private lounges in motion. Materials, colours, finishes, lighting and equipment will be selected and developed around each client, giving every vehicle a distinct character.
The programme will include fully reclining executive seats with massage functions, privacy partitions, ambient lighting and additional acoustic insulation. High-speed Wi-Fi, integrated displays and centralised control systems will allow passengers to work, communicate or access entertainment while travelling.
Pininfarina’s role will extend beyond styling individual surfaces. The company will be responsible for the overall atmosphere of the cabin, balancing ergonomics, technology, lighting and material selection within a coherent interior environment.
Premium leathers, selected wood veneers and individually specified materials will form part of the personalisation process. The intention is to integrate technology without allowing screens and controls to dominate the passenger compartment.

The partnership draws on Pininfarina’s experience in several areas of high-end mobility. Alongside its long history in automotive design, the Turin company has worked on the interiors of private aircraft, helicopters and yachts, as well as architecture and luxury products.
“This collaboration is based on our established experience in the design of luxury interiors, developed not only in the automotive sector but also in private jets, helicopters, yachts and other segments of high-end mobility,” said Fabio Calorio of Pininfarina.
According to Calorio, the project allows Pininfarina to apply its approach to comfort, materials and craftsmanship to a new type of travelling environment, in which the interior becomes an expression of the owner’s identity.
Khalil Fakhoury of Exclua said the company selected Pininfarina for its Italian design heritage and its ability to combine refinement, privacy and personalisation.
The collaboration reflects a wider shift at the upper end of the automotive market. For customers commissioning highly personalised vehicles, the passenger compartment is increasingly the central part of the project rather than a secondary element behind the exterior design.
Exclua’s first bespoke vehicles featuring interiors designed by Pininfarina are scheduled to become available in October 2026.
