Pininfarina Celebrates 95th Anniversary with Special Trophy at 2025 Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance

Torino, July 30, 2025 – The 2025 Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance will shine a global spotlight on Italian automotive artistry as it honors the 95th anniversary of Pininfarina, one of the world’s most revered design houses. To mark this major milestone, the prestigious California event will introduce a brand-new accolade: the Pininfarina Trophy, awarded to the vehicle that best embodies 95 years of the company’s legendary innovation and elegance.

A specially designed and handcrafted trophy—created in-house by Pininfarina—will be presented to the winner during the Concours’ award ceremony on Sunday, August 17, 2025. The presentation will be led by Silvio Angori, CEO and Managing Director of Pininfarina.

“Pininfarina’s contribution to automotive history, through nearly a century of visionary elegance and design, is truly priceless,” said Sandra Button, Chair of the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance. “We’ve had the privilege over the years to showcase some of the most iconic Pininfarina creations—true works of art in motion. It’s an honor to celebrate this milestone with the inauguration of the Pininfarina Trophy, which recognizes not only the beauty of a single car, but the enduring legacy of design that Pininfarina continues to inspire worldwide.”

The recipient of the Pininfarina Trophy will be chosen by a special jury selected by the Concours organizers, with the aim of honoring a car that best reflects the brand’s rich heritage of craftsmanship, innovation, and aesthetic excellence.

Silvio Angori expressed deep appreciation for the recognition:

“To be celebrated in the United States—one of our most strategic and historically important markets—is a true honor. With offices in Miami and New York, our presence in the U.S. is strong, and this recognition at such a renowned event underlines our global impact. The Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance brings together the world’s most iconic vehicles, many of which bear the unmistakable signature of Pininfarina.”

As part of the anniversary celebrations, Automobili Pininfarina will unveil the Battista Novantacinque on the famed Concept Lawn. This exclusive edition of the all-electric hyper GT pays homage to the company’s 95th anniversary with an eye-catching Exposed Signature Carbon body, accented in Rosso Gloss. The Battista Novantacinque embodies Italian artistry and cutting-edge technology, merging high-performance electric power with timeless design.

The 2025 Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance promises to be a landmark moment for Pininfarina, celebrating its past, present, and future in the world of automotive excellence.
