01 / THE STORY
History & context
The first model from Vittori is a hybrid hypercar that blends sculptural design with advanced engineering. Conceived in collaboration with Pininfarina, the car expresses a balance between Italian craftsmanship and contemporary performance technology. Every surface, proportion, and material has been shaped to serve both aerodynamic efficiency and aesthetic clarity. The body features fluid, continuous lines that minimize drag and manage airflow across the chassis. The front section integrates large air intakes that direct cooling to the hybrid powertrain and braking systems, while side channels guide air toward the rear. The profile is low and taut, with a long bonnet and a tapered cabin set back over the driven wheels. At the rear, an active wing adjusts its position to increase downforce or reduce resistance depending on speed and driving conditions. The chassis is constructed using lightweight composite materials combined with additive-manufactured structural components, reducing mass while maintaining rigidity. Beneath the body, a hybrid propulsion system developed by Italtecnica combines a high-performance combustion engine with an electric unit designed for immediate torque delivery and regenerative braking. The powertrain is engineered for balance and responsiveness, with precise weight distribution and a focus on driver feedback. Inside, the Vittori hypercar departs from the touchscreen-heavy interiors typical of modern performance vehicles. The cockpit prioritizes mechanical interaction: aluminum switches, exposed fasteners, and tactile materials replace digital interfaces. The driving position is low and centered, framed by a minimalist dashboard and a steering wheel stripped of unnecessary controls. The instrumentation combines analog and digital readouts, providing essential data without distraction. The choice of materials reflects a dual emphasis on function and craftsmanship. Carbon fiber, anodized metal, and fine Italian leather are used sparingly and purposefully. Each element is designed to feel intentional, reducing visual noise and emphasizing control. Limited to 50 units, the Vittori hypercar represents a study in precision and restraint. Its design communicates speed through form rather than ornament, uniting tradition and innovation in a single, cohesive object. The result is a machine that appears sculpted by air itself — defined by purpose, balance, and the pursuit of movement refined to its essence.
