Fiat 1600S Coupé Fissore

The Fiat 1600S Coupé Fissore was a small-series coachbuilt grand tourer developed on Fiat’s 1600S mechanical platform during the early 1960s. The model combined the 1,568 cc twin-cam four-cylinder engine associated with the OSCA programme with distinctive closed coachwork produced by Carrozzeria Fissore. It formed part of a broader series of Fiat/OSCA-based special-bodied coupés rather than a separate high-volume Fiat production line.

Contemporary and specialist histories identify Fissore-bodied 1600S coupés in the 1962–63 period. Early versions and later cars can be distinguished by changes in rear glazing and body detailing. This entry retains the 1963 legacy identity as a later phase of the Fissore 1600S Coupé programme; it should not be used to multiply the production totals of earlier and later variants.
