01 / THE STORY
The Ferrari 365 GTS, produced from February to October 1969, is a remarkable sports car that combined elegant design with exceptional performance. It shared its refined mechanics with the Ferrari 365 GT 2+2 and the 365 GTC, offering a perfect blend of luxury and driving dynamics. The heart of the 365 GTS was a 60° V12 engine equipped with three Weber carburettors, providing both impressive elasticity and a substantial reserve of power. This engine allowed for an exhilarating driving experience, with smooth acceleration and ample performance across a variety of driving conditions. The car’s five-speed rear gearbox played a significant role in achieving optimal weight distribution, enhancing handling and overall driving pleasure. This design approach contributed to the 365 GTS being not only a powerful vehicle but also a well-balanced and responsive machine. For those who sought additional comfort, options such as air conditioning and spoked wheels were available, further enhancing the appeal of this sophisticated sports car. Designed by the legendary Pininfarina, the Ferrari 365 GTS was a true beauty. With its sleek, elegant lines and iconic Ferrari styling, it quickly became a symbol of automotive excellence. Only twenty examples of this exquisite spider were built, making it a rare and highly sought-after collector’s item. Its exclusivity, combined with its stunning design and impressive performance, solidified the Ferrari 365 GTS as a standout model in Ferrari’s rich history.
