THE STORY

Overview

Carrozzeria Bresciana was a coachbuilding workshop associated with Brescia, Italy, whose documented work includes the body of the 1948 Siata-Fiat 750 Spider Corsa built for brothers Mario and Domenico Fenocchio. The competition car combined a Fiat Topolino-derived chassis with a 742 cc engine using Siata components. Its bodywork was constructed mainly in steel, with aluminium used for the bonnet and doors.

The Spider Corsa was prepared for the 1948 Mille Miglia and later returned to the event in 1949. This commission provides evidence of Carrozzeria Bresciana’s activity by 1948, but does not establish when the workshop was founded or how many other bodies it built. Those aspects of its history remain open to further research.
