THE STORY

Overview

Carrozzeria Ansaloni was a Modena-based Italian coachbuilder active from 1949 to 1956. According to the historical research published by AISA (Associazione Italiana per la Storia dell’Automobile), its principal activity involved the transformation and coachbuilding of Fiat cars.

AISA also records a possible connection with bodywork for early Ferraris, including a reference to the 159 of 1947, but presents that attribution as uncertain. It must therefore not be treated as a confirmed commission or vehicle attribution. The documented 1949–1956 period describes the workshop’s activity; the precise date and circumstances of its establishment require further corroboration.
